Does the other person need the app?
No. Everything runs on your phone. They just hold it, follow the guides on screen, and tap the shutter.
Does it work with strangers?
Yes. The coaching is silent and on screen, designed for someone who has never seen the app before. If they can point a camera, they can follow two labels and a level line.
What happens to my photos?
They stay on your iPhone. The live camera, the coaching and the reference photo analysis all run on your device. Goodside sends no photos, camera frames or personal data anywhere.
What does Goodside collect about me?
There are no accounts, no analytics trackers and no ads. The only data that leaves your phone is anonymous purchase information handled by Apple and RevenueCat to keep your subscription working. Details are in our Privacy Policy.
What happens if I cancel?
You keep access until the end of the period you paid for, and if you cancel during the free trial before it ends you are never charged. Your saved profiles stay on your phone and unlock again if you come back.
Which iPhones are supported?
Any iPhone running iOS 17.6 or later. Goodside uses the standard camera and motion sensors, so no special hardware is required.
